Founded in 1954, Palomar Insurance is one of the oldest independent agencies in the Southeast, with a long history of serving a range of large commercial insurance markets. The development of a Marketing Action Plan (MAP) uncovered an opportunity to capture more personal lines business. Because of the historic B-to-B nature of their client base, the personal lines insurance that Palomar offered was not top of mind to potential customers, which presented a new opportunity to grow this sector of the company. They wanted to re-introduce their personal lines offering with an exciting new brand, within a highly visible brick-and-mortar location, in a popular suburban setting.
In a highly competitive industry like insurance, you must first find your target audiences and provide sales solutions that convert customers. The Marketing Action Plan created a strategy to identify opportunities and boost the personal lines business model that would positively impact the organization to generate leads and meet targets. The MAP also helped effectively budget for and activate the new brand strategy.
The Palomar Plus brand was developed to be a friendly, personal lines face of the much larger parent company. We created a successful brand launch, led by a Marketing Action Plan that we developed and implemented that called for a tightly branded storefront location supported by environmental graphics, collaterals, a new website, and a successful mass media flight.
